How hard is it to build your own PC?
Just wondering how hard it would be for me as a beginner to build my own PC, have a lot of spare time this summer and fancy learning some new skills. Is it much cheaper than buying one already made in a shop? What are the most expensive components? What's the hardest thing to do?

i have built one myself, but if your not familar with pc components it might be a little bit difficult. the most expensive part of your pc will prolly be the processor. but building your own pc can get kinda pricey if your going all out. i would suggest looking for some sort of combo that comes with a case, motherboard and processor. you can find these at tigerdirect or newegg and also look for mail in rebates as this would save you alot of money too.

for me i suggest that you must first decide what pc would you like to build, is it for gaming, surfing, or just an ordinary pc. first you must put some budget on it because if you don't that would cost you a lot of money, here some tip, you must browse on some online website that sales computer parts. there you can you can customized your pc. but first just be sure that you choose the best processor and the mother board, because that is the very best component that you should put on your pc, then the rest is just like the accessories on you pc. to tell you processor is the main component of your pc, all the stuff depend on it. just look for the specification of the processor first so that you can choose the components that fits right on your processor , but be sure to pick the latest processor so that you will not be behind if you want to upgrade soon your pc. try to browse AntiVirus, Anti-Spyware, Endpoint Security, Backup, Storage Solutions | Symantec Corp., i once visited that site and for me it's very much modern site for a novice pc builder, and they also categorized what pc you want to build, even if you dont want to buy through they website, but at least you have an idea bout building computer through there website.
