Just be careful, the google algorithm is getting smart. They can recognize that if you are listed in directories with low rankings, or in directories known for adding anyone (ie Free Directories) they can certainly blacklist you.

you can collect some related website in online and approach for link exchange. also you can participate in some blogs and promote your links by posting comments, see to that the comment links are not nofollow in relation.. hope this helps you in gaining back links for your website.

Try using TNX service to build some backlinks but don't do it too quickly or Google will penalize you for building too fast.
