any perl programmers?

So how many Perl programmers out there?

How many years have you been programming in Perl?

I have only dabbed on it a little and it seemed similar to the other languages.

hi jay,
Perl is oudated language.U know that many more languages come forward.PHP is also derived from perl.I don't know where perl used.Old projects may be functioning on the Perl language.

Due to its Powerful text processing facilities there are many users of it we can find.I am a not a programmer of this language but i want to be a programmer of its.

I totally agree with you on that. Perl is a nice Programming Language but there are some other language that is more easier and nice to learn from it.
