U should go thru w3schools where u can learn web design basics and many more things.

Start searching for it on the web with keywords like free tutorials. Better go to youtube and see the real thing happen.

Hi marks

I started my basics with books. After reading the books i wrote some small program and run them in my PC. w3school is a better option but how can you concentrate like this(on the net). you can get printout of these pages and read them.

First you learn books. After that you go for small program. Bcz i thing if you clear your basic things in web designing then you can go for any web design software like DW, ROR etc etc......

Yes, i also firstly go for books and after then i start my coding with notepad.
