I want to create a web 2.0 logo for my website. Any suggestion or tutorial how to design them? I know a bit about adobe photoshop.

Logo creators are great and all, but it's better to teach a man to fish than to give him one.
I'd recommend PSDTuts.com, there are so many quality tutorials on that site, it's amazing.

Thanks for sharing those, I will check them out. I am also in need of a good program to make a very simple logo--I have it drawn out and I know how I want it to look, all I need now is a simple program that will allow me to make it. I don't have much luck with Photoshop because I haven't found a good tutorial for using it yet.

Are there any programs that let you free hand something, and the program allows you to make it symmetric and alter it in a way? (I hope that makes some sense.)
