Default Buttons or Links
Hi there,

We are planning to have our website, QatarVisitor.com, redesigned, and wonder whether it is better to go links or buttons for the top navigation bar. What is the current desig thinking on this?

I'm not sure what the current trend in design is on this issue...but taking a quick look at your site I notice that there is already a lot of text. So I would say go with buttons or icons if you can, it will set the navigation bar apart from the rest of the site and make it easier to find.

1. I'd go with icons or buttons.

2. The header looks to 'blue' to me. I'd tweak the color scheme in general.

3. Is it optimised for a 800x600 screen? I'd go 1024x768 at least or a stretching one - with the current layout it seems possible.

4. Not really much 'design' in there. Looks like a built-in CMS template.
