Job Description
Startup company is offering a minimum short term gig for a special projects webmaster/builder for a single, unique project.

We have a development project going on to design build a new social website targeted at a unique special interest group. Our dev team is completely occupied with this project and has no time for any of the company's needs for organizational development work. We need to bring on line a high quality private intranet service designed just for our needs.

I am am searching for that perfect webmaster that has the basic skills in open source application hosting to take the lead under my direction to mount an open source private collaboration tool set called Mindquarry. Please go the site

and and evaluate the open source apps and determine if this is the kind of project you are willing to take on. You do not have to have tremendous skills to do this kind of project, but you do need enough skill to understand what you are doing, and setting out to do and can tqake high level guidance from me.

I am particularly open to a student of the trade that would like to take this on. This project will be a closed door project in development and testing until it is time to promote for actual usage. At that point we can discuss a longer term role on the team. That role could be a maintenance role just for the private segments of the company, or there could be other work as well. I am completely open to where this could go for the both of us.

I am based here in the Sacramento area and prefer someone local where we can meet every now and then, otherwise, once we get going we meet online most of the time and by telephone conference call. My partners are all over the country on this project so we are very oriented toward virtual teams.

There is not much for cash payments in the beginning, but there will be more to follow as the company goes online and cash flow starts.
