need help with creating CSS layouts..
I must admit I have used tables in the past and have never had a problem doing this as I would use the <center> tag, but now it seems the times have changed and the center tag is now "out-of-date" apparently and CSS is being used instead of tables on a good number of websites.
I've been trying to create a 3 column layout, with the two columns on the side that expand with the page, and one column in the middle that stays the same. Usually, I would just center it and be done with it, but now it proves to be much more difficult having to use CSS.
I like CSS, although I am new to it, it doesn't require so much coding as I can modify several pages at once and put comments everywhere to remind me what it does. But creating layouts I find much more confusing and difficult.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
